The Redhorse Collective takes part in ‘Equator’, a project that aims to strengthen the voice of children around the globe. Equator provides primary schools worldwide with an online learning platform where they can exchange videos, and off course, we at Redhorse do what we do best: making reports and documentaries. Therefore we need you! We are looking for young reporters to work with us on stories about children’s rights.

Pitch us your story through the form below. A jury will award three stories to make a 25 minute documentary that will be broadcasted on Belgian National television in foreign affairs program ‘Vranckx’. Deadline for your pitch is 20th of October 2019, 23h59. Make sure to be in time!

A good pitch is more than just an idea. A good pitch is an idea with a plan. We are looking for strong pitches from young reporters with the right skills. Since you will be working on a television documentary, experience in filming and editing is strongly recommended. There’s no real age limit, although we like to give chances to upcoming talent. Let’s say you’re as young as your mind is.

What’s in it for you? We support your trip financially and guide you through the process of applying for other grants. We help you in making the script, building the storyline, building the right team for the project, postproduction and edit. In return we ask all selected reporters to make some short movies Equator can use for it's platform.
